This research is motivated by the problem of youth unemployment, the need to generate new income and the lack of financial education. A qualitative research method with an explanatory approach was applied taking into account the documentary analysis technique and a survey aimed at the studied population, in order to identify the basic concepts related to the cryptocurrency market and the perception of this market, describe its main advantages, classify the investment benefits provided by the Binance platform and the mode of access for students in the context of the study. To this end, an analysis will be made of the positions of economist Amartya Sen, who developed an index with which he seeks to identify the population groups that lack the development of capabilities. This index will be related to the results of the National Nutritional Situation Survey (ENSIN), with emphasis on the food insecurity indicator, which, by means of defined parameters, indicates the degree of insecurity in the households of the 24 departments that will be the object of this study. Once these variables have been obtained, an econometric model will be used to establish the degree of correlation between them.
