Ítem Uniones para uniones en guadua(2021) GUERRERO MENDOZA, BRAYAN RICARDOThe guadua is a plant derived from bamboo that is due to its physical and mechanical properties, it is quite physical in the construction sector, in Colombia it was used with greater force in the 19th centuries, that is why in this country especially in the Quindío and what is included in the coffee axis we can see different references of this type of architecture. Despite the fact that time has passed, and new materials have been implemented, guadua is still used with constructive fines. If we talk about guadua and its different joints we can say that there are still shortcomings, because it is an easy material to damage and in most joints it is necessary to perforate the material by splitting it and causing structural losses, in the primer, manuals and construction regulations in Colombia these faults have been identified, however, a radical solution is not generated if you do not choose to modify the guadua with other materials such as mortar, if we take into account what has been said above, it is necessary to investigate and give solution to this problem that lies in the ways of connection between the pieces of guadua. In this work we seek to implement a union that does not need to pierce the guadua to connect it with another piece, to achieve this we first carry out different investigations taking primary sources such as great connoisseurs of the subject, thesis, norms and of course field visits, we identify the main flaws and We gave a solution that in our case was a kind of metal clamp with a die on one end and a hole on the opposite side, these last pieces managed to fit one guadua with the other as a lego but while still being versatile for the design of the house to be made.
