    INTRODUCCIÓN A LA ARQUITECTURA VERNÁCULA
    (2021-07-30) Zambrano Martínez, Erwin
The Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad La Gran Colombia has as a pedagogical tool the Earth and Wood Architecture Laboratory, this Laboratory is based on the "Charter of Built Vernacular Heritage" where it is express that, within its lines of action, the educational centers, in this case the University, has the obligation to implement initiatives aimed at teaching the values of vernacular heritage built in such a way that awareness is generated aimed at valuing and conserving the values of vernacular architecture, the foregoing charges It makes more sense if one takes into account that more than 50% of the declared architectural heritage in Colombia is built using vernacular construction techniques (this is data from the Ministry of Culture).

ROBÓTICA EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓN Y ARQUITECTURA, EXPERIENCIAS LOCALES EN CHILE
(2021-09-24) Ulloa Aguayo, Paula Ignacia; Rodrigo, García Alvarado
As Rafael Cárdenas García mentions, since man began to produce objects, two main manufacturing methods have been used: subtraction and molding. The first technologies were subtractive because man took a piece of stone or wood and cut the excess material to give it a sharp shape. In this sense, the drill, the lathe and the milling machine are subtractive technologies because basically they do the same thing: they cut the excess parts so that the desired shape remains. Great sculptors like Michelangelo used to say that “the statue is already inside the block of marble; You just have to release it." Molding technologies came later, although they have been used by men at least since the Bronze Age, when humans began using stone molds to create spearheads and other weapons. Today, 3D printing has arrived to definitively open up the game of the production of physical goods, democratizing it. We are on the eve of a revolution that will have a profound impact on the architecture, engineering and construction industry, which will undoubtedly be one of the stages in history with the greatest technological change experienced in just one generation.

WEBINAR – PASADOS, PRESENTES Y NUEVAS REALIDADES PARA LAS CIUDADES: DICOTOMÍAS DE LA MOVILIDAD SOSTENIBLE
(2021-11-19) Araujo Lima, Cristina; Cardona Rojas, Madisson Yojan
According to the new urban agendas, currently one of the most significant challenges for the functionality of cities is the aspect of mobility and transportation. In this case, recent theories favor the configuration of more compact cities, as proposed by the 15-minute city, or the incorporation of alternative transport systems such as bicycles. Urban developments oriented towards sustainable transport (Dots) have also been encouraged and the use of mass transport is promoted over private transport. However, these theories, although applicable to Latin American cities, in some cases, propose strategies and interventions that are not enough to transform the conditions of mobility in contemporary cities and that do not manage to contribute enough in scope for the fulfillment of the aforementioned agendas, since the transformation of the mobility process is not the only aspect that is required to impact with more concrete actions in the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainable development.

INTRODUCCIÓN AL 7 SIBGUADUA: LA GUADUA COMO MATERIAL ESTRUCTURAL Y SOSTENIBLE
(2021-10-26) Barreto, Walter; Andrade, Sofía; Barnet, Yann
From the regulations developed in the NSR-10 on the use of guadua as a structural material, a new scenario was opened for architects in terms of design and construction with this material. In this context, the International Bamboo and Guadua Network appeared, created in 2015 and from 2016 the research group Hábitat Tecnológico y Construcción began to interact with the network. First by attending events and then by contributing to the participation of international speakers, and this is how, since 2019, several researchers and seedbeds have become part of the network. For this reason, as a contribution to the cooperation with the International Bamboo and Guadua Sibguadua Network, an event was scheduled to address the general theme of the use of material and promotion of the Symposium to be held in Lima, Peru in October of next year and in which the research group is part of the organizing committee.

MI PROYECTO DESDE EL SEMILLERO V
(2021-09-22) Ramirez, Anna Gabriela; Nope Bernal, Alberto; Gálvez Bohorquez, Melisa
During the event, presentations of the advances in academic projects of students from the research hotbeds were carried out. On the one hand, the DIEA+BIM integrated energy-environmental design seedbed is started, led by the architect Alberto Nope, who in this regard comments on the search for the articulation of several projects on the same investigation seeking to explore the BIM methodology and what is known as BPS Building. Performance Simulation, this is how three projects or case studies are presented where the verification of environmental conditions, comfort and energy efficiency has been explored through digital models. The intention of the work carried out with the seedbed is for students to acquire real tools to achieve better decision-making in design, in this case with topics associated with degree projects.

VIVIENDA DE INTERÉS CULTURAL EN TIERRA
    (2021-09-15) Escovar Wilson White, Alberto
Given the promulgation of Law 2079 of 2021 through which provisions are issued regarding housing and habitat and in particular in its article number 6, where the definition and differential approach of Housing of Cultural Interest VIC is proposed, it was proposed an academic space with the participation of officials from the Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture, the entity in charge of developing said law, and an expert from the productive and social sector in construction based on land use, particularly for housing developments. This with the purpose of having a vision from the institutionality and the productive sector about the implications generated by the promulgation of this law, which opens the way for the use of land as construction material, a step prior to what could be the recognition in national construction regulations.

WORKSHOP - APLICACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA DE ESTRUCTURAS RETICULADAS ESPACIALES EN GUADUA.
(2021-08-12) Gálvez, Melissa; Martínez, Manuel; Nope, Alberto; Zambrano, Erwin
Guadua is a construction and structural material, recognized by the Colombian Seismic Resistant Standard NSR-10 and part of its study and implementation includes the development of prototypes that allow evaluating different aspects of its use on a real scale. In this context, the research group Hábitat Tecnológico y Construcción held an event that sought to show the different issues handled by its researchers around the use of this material and how its characteristics and conditions can be evaluated in each parameter. For this, students from the group's research hotbeds were involved in the development of a workshop that brought them closer, through the elaboration of scale models, to what the development of real prototypes implies.

LA INVESTIGACIÓN EN PREGRADO DE ARQUITECTURA
    (2021-08-04) Arzayús Correa, Laura Victoria
Currently, the projects of undergraduate students in architecture show the development of formative skills as a result of scientific research processes applied to case studies, but there is a gap in the systematization of the process and its results that prevents assuming and understanding it as such. central problematic situation of the exercise; Under these logical processes, the validity of the intuitive collection and analysis of primary and secondary information for decision-making in the project is recognized, but the application of order and rigor in the systematization of the process in all its stages is insisted on.
