Considerando lo anterior, esta investigación aborda la problemática de la desarticulación urbana y territorial del malecón en Leticia, Amazonas. El estudio analiza el borde fluvial, el malecón y cómo la falta de integración de estos espacios urbanos ha generado diversas dificultades en el desarrollo de esta zona; afectando no solo la infraestructura y la economía local. Lo que desencadena una serie de problemáticas primordiales que son evidentemente trascendentales, siendo las comunidades indígenas el punto focal en cuanto al desarrollo del comercio informal, donde se limita el acceso de estas comunidades a los circuitos comerciales locales dentro de las plazas, afectando directamente sus medios de sustento. Además, la separación física y funcional entre estos espacios ha restringido la visibilidad de la cultura indígena y su intercambio cultural con los visitantes, reduciendo así la difusión de sus tradiciones y conocimientos en el ámbito urbano.The Entrelazando el corazón del Amazonas project is a regional urban project that addresses an integral urban structuring strategy, with a mixed type and approach of research; taking as a case study the city of Leticia, Amazonas, in Colombia; specifically in the area of the malecon, which delimits with the countries Brazil and Peru, where they share the Amazon River. Considering the above, this research addresses the problem of urban and territorial disarticulation of the seawall in Leticia, Amazonas. The study analyzes the fluvial border, the boardwalk and how the lack of integration of these urban spaces has generated several difficulties in the development of this area; affecting not only the infrastructure and the local economy. This unleashes a series of fundamental problems that are evidently transcendental, being the indigenous communities the focal point in terms of the development of informal commerce, where the access of these communities to the local commercial circuits within the plazas is limited, directly affecting their livelihoods.
