Surge la necesidad de realizar una renovación urbana que logre mejorar los aspectos de sostenibilidad de las ciudades. Bogotá por ser la capital del país debe servir como referente para ayudar a la evolución de las ciudades para alcanzar la sostenibilidad. El barrio la estrella ubicada en el centro de la ciudad se encuentra dentro de la estructura estratégica. Localizado sobre la calle 26 el eje vial más importante de la ciudad ya que conecta la ciudad desde el aéreo puerto hasta el centro histórico, además de contar con una serie de equipamientos que fortalecen la ubicación de la pieza urbana que en la actualidad es afectada por una serie de problemáticas que la convierten en un territorio no sostenible. El presente trabajo de grado consiste en un proyecto de renovación urbano sostenible, por medio de intervenciones estratégicas que integren los sistemas Ambientales, espacio público, servicios, equipamientos y un sistema de vivienda funcional. A partir de un marco teórico estructurado por los 12 principios para un diseño Sostenible urbano. que responda a las necesidades del barrio y además Genere un tejido urbano con la ciudad que sirva como detonante para un desarrollo estratégico para el centro de Bogotá.The project arises from the need to strengthen the sustainability of Colombian cities since according to the study (ICAU urban environmental quality index) carried out by the Ministry of the Environment, which reflects which cities in the country have the highest deficit in the aspects analyzed.
