Actualmente, la zona carece de lugares adecuados para que los estudiantes refuercen su educación, y no existe un espacio cultural que fomente la creatividad y el intercambio de ideas. La biblioteca no solo serviría como un centro educativo para los jóvenes, por supuesto también como un refugio de calma para los familiares de los pacientes del cercano Hospital de Engativá. Además, su proximidad al Centro Comercial Portal 80 permitiría ofrecer una alternativa educativa y cultural accesible para todos los vecinos y visitantes.
