En términos históricos los conflictos menores entre particulares son frecuentes en Colombia, lo que lleva a congestionar los despachos judiciales donde se deberían estar tratando asuntos de mayor importancia y envergadura. En el caso de esta nueva modalidad justicia, sus decisiones están basadas en la conciencia y la equidad siendo un intermedio entre la mediación y la justicia ordinaria donde los casos son juzgados en estricto derecho. En la ciudad de Bogotá, los conflictos sociales tienen una mayor incidencia en zonas y niveles socioeconómicos específicos, siendo la población con menores recursos y mayor vulnerabilidad donde este tipo de situaciones se presentan con una mayor frecuencia. Bajo la línea de Familia, Conflictos Sociales y Proyección Social se pretende establecer si el funcionamiento de la Justicia de Paz realmente llega a solucionar conflictos en la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar.The Peace Justice resolution model was created at the Political Constitution of Colombia in 1991, it seeks to help into the resolution of conflicts between individuals and interest groups in all levels of society, in an efficient manner with no cost to the parties involved. In Bogotá City, social conflicts have a greater incidence in specific s zones and economic levels, being the population with fewer resources and greater vulnerability where this type of situations occur with greater frequency.
