Las preguntas formuladas anteriormente son la causa del siguiente proyecto, donde es la formulación de un Plan de Desarrollo Universitario (PDU) cómo la solución para resolver las necesidades de educación superior en Usme y los sectores circundantes. Bajo esta dinámica el proyecto a desarrollar es de carácter urbano arquitectónico, en donde se verá la relación de ciudad región en el campo educativo, y como desde conceptos espaciales y funcionales se puede dar una posible solución a tal déficit en esta zona de la ciudad, garantizando los ejes de movilidad con relación a la red articulada de Transmilenio. El PDU está diseñado con relación a un desarrollo por fases, dentro de las cuales se contempla el diseño arquitectónico de la fase central, la cual es la pauta de centralidad en la composición urbana y está compuesta por un auditorio subterráneo y una biblioteca, equipamientos que están diseñados para el uso por parte de toda la comunidad educativa y la población visitante.These work exposes the characterization and lack of higher education coverage in the southern periphery of the city of Bogotá in relationshipwith the large number of educational institutions of primary and basic levels.
