Mediante una metodología mixta que combina herramientas cualitativas y cuantitativas, se busca comprender las necesidades de la comunidad, garantizando un diseño funcional y sostenible que refleja sus valores y expectativas. El bioparque fomenta el Aviturismo, impulsando el desarrollo económico de los habitantes a través de actividades de observación de aves, educación ambiental, talleres, comercio y servicios conexos. La propuesta incluye el uso de materiales locales y tecnologías ecológicas para reducir el impacto ambiental. Asimismo, se promoverá la reforestación reconectando el paisaje fragmentado y como barrera natural contra el ruido del suelo urbano. San Gil ofrece rutas de observación de aves en áreas relevantes, siendo la vereda El Jobito la más grande y la que más posee especies en el municipio, pero también la más afectada por la expansión urbana y el turismo de aventura. El bioparque fortalecerá la identidad cultural local mediante la preservación de caminos históricos y contribuirá al desarrollo económico a través de actividades sostenibles de Aviturismo, involucrando a la comunidad en la protección del entorno natural y en la promoción de prácticas turísticas responsables.This project addresses the problems generated by urban expansion in El Jobito, San Gil area, which affect the ecosystem, especially bird species.
