| dc.description | Tropical waves are considered a relevant meteorological phenomenon in Colombia due to the effects that can directly or indirectly affect the north of the country, this phenomenon is considered as an alteration generated by the North African winds that are in constant movement and it is related to other variables such as temperature and precipitation. At present there are different digital platforms that allow us to recognize climatic conditions around the world, where it is possible to evaluate the changes produced by these waves by passing through the tropics. The data from these platforms visualize, manage and analyze geographic information. Therefore, the research development of this article will be based on the applicability of the geographic information systems tool within meteorology, in this case Windy is proposed and will carry out an analysis of the most serious components and effects produced by these waves in Colombia. | en |
| dc.description | Las ondas tropicales son consideradas un fenómeno meteorológico relevante en Colombia debido a los efectos que pueden llegar a afectar directa o indirectamente el norte del país, este fenómeno se considera como una alteración generada por los vientos del norte de África que se encuentran en constante movimiento y se relaciona con otras variables como temperatura y precipitación. En la actualidad existen diferentes plataformas digitales que permiten reconocer las condiciones climáticas en todo el mundo, donde es posible evaluar los cambios que producen estas ondas por el paso en el trópico. Los datos de estas plataformas visualizan, gestionan y analizan información geográfica, Por ende, el desarrollo investigativo de este artículo se dará a partir de la aplicabilidad de la herramienta de sistemas de información geográfica dentro de la meteorología, en este caso se plantea Windy y se realizará un análisis de los componentes y efectos más graves producidos por estas ondas en Colombia. | es |
