Desarrollo de unión para tenso estructuras en guadua (Angustifolia Kunth)

Abstract

The following research is based on the different joints for tensile structures in guadua Angustifolia Kunth, focusing on the post-cable connection, which through a methodological process starts with the collection of information and references based on the subject of study, identifying the problems that arise in the existing joints, this process was done through a diagnosis divided into: a bibliographic diagnosis that demonstrates the most important aspects in the tensile structures, the efforts that resist and the aspects that define its operation, subsequently different tests were performed to the unions established in the standard as in the NTC 5407 (Unions of structures in guadua Angustifolia Kunth) where there are unions such as: The Bolted Union, Strapped Union and Fish Mouth Union, which served as a learning and testing element, taking them to compression and bending tests, evidencing the different problems caused by perforations such as: cracking, fractures and fissures, finally based on the tests performed a design proposal is proposed that efficiently distributes loads and reduces the problems on the material, resulting in an element that works together minimizing the damage caused by perforations and the complexity of its assembly.
