La verdadera cara de la explotación minera de tipo ilegal en el municipio de Soacha del año 2000 al 2010

Abstract

Illegal mining in the municipality of Soacha, clearly shows the irreversible damage that has been caused to the environment by the improper extraction of material for construction in the quarries located in this sector during the years 2000 to 2010, in attention that for the time, the majority of companies or natural persons who carried out this practice were not duly legalized by the Ministry of Mines, who was the competent entity to carry out the study for the delivery of mining titles and / or renewal thereof. Previously, it is evident that the entities of national and municipal order, as well as the control entities, did not carry out the corresponding follow-up, nor did they design programs that would raise awareness among those who carried out this work, and those directly affected, such as the surrounding community, leaving As a result, most of the sanctions that have been initiated are still in force and that no substantive decision has been taken, nor has it been possible to carry out an optimal procedure for the time that has elapsed. Situation that is worrisome, taking into account that Colombia has stood out internationally for the creation of the ecological constitution and for making value the principles that govern for protection of the environment, always seeking that the principle of integrality be applied in favor of save the nonrenewable resources
