e incluso cultural.
Abstract
The present project proposes the execution of an urban project that is based on a
multimodal connection center between the conurbation of Bogotá and Soacha in the San Mateo
neighborhood, in order to guarantee a better quality of life for each inhabitant and visitor,
mitigating the lack of mobility and connectivity; Related to multimodality since it presents the
sector in relation to public transport, but emphasizing the importance of the pedestrian and the
sustainable mechanisms of mobility. For this, the problem that the proposal intends to solve is
described: the great mobility problem generated by vehicular congestion causing current
transport systems to suffer from over-saturation and road deterioration found in the sector, due
to which travel times are prolong generating a negative impact on each person. Said proposal is
pertinent since, by developing it, it will allow optimizing public transport through the different
types of transport that are intended to be implemented, executing the importance of the
transversal connection in the sector since there is currently a longitudinal rupture by existing
public transport, with In this project we seek better connectivity between the sector through the
central node, generating that the users who use them can improve their quality of life. The
purpose of this project will be to organize and be able to integrate public space with the mass
transportation system, seeking permeability between the user and the context that guarantees
socioeconomic and even cultural improvement.
