Intervención arquitectónica a la institución educativa tecnica la libertad de Samacá – Boyacá para el beneficio de la población en la vereda el Gacal

Abstract

This document aims to show how the IET (Technical Educational Institution) La Libertad located in the village of El Gacal in the municipality of Samacá presents structural failures from its foundation to its roof, resulting in various pathologies such as cracks, churretones, peeling, landslides. of tiles on the roofs and fungus due to humidity. This public institution was founded by the Ministry of Education approximately in the 1960s and at the time of its creation the necessary architectural guidelines were not taken into account for the proper functioning of each of the educational spaces of the institution. At present, the place is in use and does not present any adaptation to evidence the architectural preservation, therefore, the objective of the project is to carry out an architectural intervention from scratch in order to improve the quality of its architecture from its infrastructure to its envelope, as well implement methods of sustainability, social and cultural integration to promote the good academic and intellectual development of students, giving as a solution to the problem of their limitation, dimension, capacity and physical deterioration. Several educational spaces are proposed as a solution to the integration between the student's approach with the architectural spaces, among which classrooms, laboratory and workshop classrooms, system classrooms and an orchard area (for agricultural use) are proposed, among others. spaces necessary for the use required by the place, which has a capacity of 1,260 people, including student teachers and the administrative body.
