dc.descriptionEsta investigación pretendió llamar la atención respecto de la grave situación de hacinamiento delestablecimiento penitenciario y carcelario de Sevilla (Valle del Cauca), el cual incrementó su capacidadde noventa a ciento treinta internos, en cumplimiento de las directrices de la Oficina de Planeación delINPEC; pese a que no hubo cambios en su estructura física. En la actualidad se alberga un promediode ciento noventa internos. En un afán por reducir el impacto mediático que producen las cárceles delas capitales de departamento por su hacinamiento. Igualmente buscó esta investigación demostrar elconsecuente daño psicosocial que produce este hacinamiento en la psiquis de quienes estánencerrados, sin una capacidad real de locomoción y la lógica afectación en los procesos deinteracción social, dado que, dadas las condiciones las personas generan actitudes de agresividad,como consecuencia lógica del alto estrés que tienes que padecer los internos.es-ES
dc.descriptionThis research was intended to call the attention towards the serious situation of prison overcrowded in Sevilla Valle imprisonment Institution which shows an increase in population from 90 to 130 inmates to fulfill the guidelines of the Planning Office INPEC, even though there were no space accommodation changes in its facilities. One hundred and ninety inmates are currently housed in the rush to reduce the media impact generated by overcrowded prisons in the capital cities of the region. In the same way, this research looks forward to demonstrate the consequent Psico- social damage produced by overcrowding in the minds of those who are locked up with none of real mobility and the logic affectation of social interaction processes though the given conditions generate aggressive attitudes as a consequence of high standards of stress suffered by the inmates.en-US
