Intervención de la huella histórica del conjunto religioso San Roque, municipio de Paime, Cundinamarca

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the restoration and intervention of the buildings with cultural character applied to the case study defined as Religious Group San Roque in the Municipality of Paime Cundinamarca. This through the analysis of physical and functional problems and pathologies, which require an intervention of spatial, architectural, constructive and technological reconfiguration composed by the Curál house, the parish temple and the urban park in order to provide a solution to cultural, historical, political and social needs. Which have proceeded in an identity lost and abandonment of the place and its context. This approach is carried out by the development of a design project that intervenes and reconfigures the spaces where knowledge, art and technique can be developed to provide distribution and disposition by interrelating the construction systems, elements and materials of the place in order to generate an attraction and social interest. This is by preserving and making the historical footprint of the municipality transcendent because it is necessary to revitalize and enhance the landscape identity of the religious ensemble. he research line of design and intervention of the urban or architectural heritage is determined by the cultural character studied which possess qualities that determines the whole as a property of municipal interest through the concepts and meanings defined by the restoration and rehabilitation of buildings as a symbolic character of society. It is an object of development which recovery is required through the reconfiguration so the parish church of San Roque can be intervened. By taking design as a concept of architectural intervention, the application of permeability allows the connection of the interior and exterior spaces and re-establish it so that they are a product of the recovery of identity; highlighting the historical value, the visualization and the image of the place and its habitants. This is through a scheme of maintenance, treatment of materials and treatment of pathologies that can cause deterioration in the old and new elements that will be representative.
