To achieve this goal, the research is divided into three parts: first, the theoretical foundation of the main categories analysis work: community education, space appropriation and memory, second, a historical approximation of the La Regadera dam from its construction to its current and third stage, the design and application of the pedagogical proposal that was postulated from the theoretical and methodological principles of community education. These aspects were achieved through literature review of primary and secondary sources, surveys, participant observation, field diaries, semi-structured interviews and routes.     Abstract

    Este trabajo busca demostrar como la propuesta “Rememorar para socializar” postulada desde los principios de la educación comunitaria y puesta en práctica con la población aledaña al embalse de La Regadera, posibilitó que los pobladores del lugar reconocieran la decadencia del embalse y su posterior olvido institucional a través del fortalecimiento de los procesos de memoria y apropiación del espacio. Para alcanzar este objetivo, la investigación se divide en tres partes: primero, la fundamentación teórica de las principales categorías de análisis del trabajo: educación comunitaria, apropiación del espacio y memoria, segundo, una aproximación histórica del embalse de La Regadera desde su construcción hasta su estado actual y tercero, el diseño y aplicación de la propuesta pedagógica que se postuló desde los principios teóricos y metodológicos de la educación comunitaria. Dichos aspectos se lograron ejecutar a través de revisión bibliográfica de fuentes primarias y secundarias, encuestas, observación participante, diarios de campo, entrevistas semiestructuradas y recorridos. El análisis de resultados de la implementación de la propuesta permitió identificar que la educación comunitaria efectivamente se constituye en una estrategia que posibilita que los habitantes de un lugar, en este caso de las veredas Santa Bárbara y El Destino, fortalezcan sus vínculos con el mismo a través de los procesos de memoria y apropiación del espacio con el fin de aportar herramientas que eviten que el embalse de La Regadera continúe en su estado actual, además de concientizar a la comunidad acerca de la importancia de vivir en este tipo de lugares
