    Abstract

    La Responsabilidad social Empresarial en Colombia ha sido interpretada por algunas empresas como una actitud estratégica que genera beneficios ya sea financieros, de carácter publicitario o solo por generar un impacto o imagen en la sociedad, y no como su verdadero fin que va ligado a comportamientos empresariales en el ámbito ético, social, económico y del medio ambiente tanto interno como externo que va dirigido a comprender y satisfacer los intereses legítimos y expectativas que la sociedad desea. Por tanto, el objetivo general de esta reflexión es determinar cuáles son los aspectos que generan progreso en las empresas al aplicar la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial en su misión y visión y revisar en Colombia qué iniciativas han adoptado algunas empresas en pro del desarrollo, partiendo de la identificación de la práctica de la RSE en el contexto Colombiano y de cómo estas han contribuido al crecimiento sostenible mediante los procedimientos que han aplicado.
