    Abstract

    El estudio de las crestas papilares presentes en la piel de fricción de las manos, constituyen un marcador antológico que permite identificar a una persona toda vez que presentan características diferenciadoras en número, situación y morfología que hacen a cada individuo único e irrepetible. Estos esquemas de bosquejos epidérmicos constituyen un medio físico de identificación humana ampliamente de análisis conocidos bajo la denominación genérica de lofoscopia, constituyen una herramienta fundamental para establecer la plena identidad de todas las personas vinculadas a una investigación penal, y la incorporación de huellas latentes dejadas en el lugar de los hechos escena de crimen mediante el manejo de numerosas técnicas visuales, físicas y químicas que provee elementos materiales probatorios que permiten identificar y vincular a personas con lugares en los análisis presente es una escena del crimen. De igual forma se afronta el inconveniente de la originalidad y la autenticidad manejadas en Colombia, en la actualidad se manejan varios sistema de identificación los cuales permiten a la policía judicial poder identificar por medio de una huella dactilar el presunto sujeto acción del delito
