During this period of time the companies were issuing primary market titles, on which people could acquire them very easily and the overall economic situation of the country was going well. After that, the situation changed, the price of oil decreased significantly, the value of the US Dollar rose, corruption cases such as INTERBOLSA generated distrust in the equity market, which resulted in the exit of investors; and, although this was one of the most important reasons, is not the reason that clearly defines the situation. After doing this investigation, it was evident that the financial culture of the country is minimal, and consequently, thinking that people would reinvest in this market is a remote possibility; they do not really know how to invest because they have not received education in the field and, even though, there are many stock market to learn about it, it has not been enough. A financial culture that enables people to invest in the stock market actively must be created; it is not a difficult job, it is only a matter of conducting a joint effort between people, the state and the academy.     Abstract

    Colombia ha experimentado una masiva participación de las personas naturales en la Bolsa de Valores de Colombia en el año 2011, siendo el pico de más participación y muy esperanzadora proyección, para este tiempo las empresas estaban emitiendo títulos de mercado primario, donde las personas podían adquirirlos con mucha facilidad y la situación del país estaba marchando bien. Después la situación cambió, el petróleo cayó, el dólar subió, aparecen casos de corrupción como Interbolsa que generaron desconfianza en el mercado de renta variable y por ende la salida de inversionistas y aunque esta fue una de las razones más importantes, no es la que define claramente la situación. Tras el trabajo realizado se evidenció que la cultura financiera del país es mínima, por lo cual pensar en que las personas reinviertan en este mercado es una posibilidad remota, no saben realmente cómo invertir porque no han tenido una formación en el campo y aunque hay muchas herramientas de la bolsa para instruirse, no ha sido suficiente. Debe crearse una cultura financiera que posibilite a las personas a invertir en la bolsa de forma activa, no es un trabajo difícil, solo es cuestión de un trabajo conjunto entre las personas, el estado y la academia.
