    Abstract

    El corredor ecológico metropolitano humedal Torca, está basado en una investigación en la localidad de Usaquén, UPZ 1 Paseo los libertadores en esta zona hay una gran escases de zonas verdes, hay 474.773 habitantes los cuales se dividen en 46.28% hombres, 53.72% mujeres, 19.3% niños y el 8.4% adultos mayores; En esta localidad predomina el uso mixto y residencial. La problemática principal del sector es la gran contaminación que se encuentra en el recurso hídrico (rio torca) y la gran escases de zonas verdes esto se ve reflejado en que el 38.8 % de la población realizan deportes; por otro lado una de las grandes problemáticas del humedal fue a causa de la construcción de la autopista norte generando las desfragmentación del recurso hídrico por lo tanto el quiebre de su ecosistema y sus diferentes inundaciones que se presentan en épocas de lluvia. Los principales ejes articuladores (avenidas) son la Auto Norte, la Carrera Séptima y la Carrera Novena las cuales van hacer conectadas con la Av. Boyacá por medio de una variante planteada en el POZ norte. (Secretaria Distrital de Planeacion , 2009) Entre la 209 y la 215 lado Nor-Oriental de la ciudad de Bogotá se plantea un centro tecnológico en donde se encontraran talleres que generaran aprendizaje los habitantes del sector; Teniendo en cuenta el POT decreto 190 del 2004 se cataloga al humedal torca como Parque Ecológico Principal de humedal en el cual se permite las actividades educativas sin generar un impacto al humedal El corredor ecológico metropolitano tiene como función realizar una conectividad urbana por medio de la estructura ecológica principal generando nuevos usos del suelo – mejoramiento de la calidad del recurso hídrico y dando espacios para la preservación de la flora y la fauna.(Secretaria Distrital de Ambiente , 2011)
