This task provided the opportunity to contrast the position of the institution to the current higher education regulations for inclusion. Furthermore, the proposed analytical exercise on the implementation of the institutional policy took into account the major institutional documents such as public policies. Once these were examined from the objectives and provisions, it was possible to determine the characteristics and contributions posted there that guide the institutional processes of inclusion in policy.     Abstract

    El objetivo de la presente investigación es dilucidar el panorama sobre la inclusión de personas en condición de discapacidad física y sensorial a la Universidad La Gran Colombia sede Bogotá DC desde la aplicación de la política institucional para su inclusión, tarea que finalmente permitió contrastar la posición de la institución frente a la educación superior inclusiva a partir de la normatividad vigente. Para ello, el ejercicio analítico propuesto sobre aplicación de la política institucional que tuvo en cuenta de igual manera a los principales documentos institucionales como las políticas públicas afín, una vez examinadas a partir de los objetivos y disposiciones que estas presentaron fue posible determinar las particularidades y aportes allí expuestos que orientan los procesos institucionales de inclusión dentro de la política. Finalmente es posible evidenciar que la falta de inclusión de personas en condición de discapacidad a este sistema universitario obedece en principio a una falta de reconocimiento y voluntad institucional, aun cuando las políticas públicas afirman la inclusión de personas con discapacidad respecto al sistema terciario como otros sistemas a partir de los derechos de la persona
