ECO H2O : propuesta de renovación urbana, modalidad redesarrollo y reactivación en el nacimiento del Río Fucha, San Cristóbal sur, Bogotá D.C

Abstract

The project ECO H2O is an offer of Redevelopment and Reactivation that implements in the Locality of San Cristóbal South, exactly in the high basin of the Rio San Cristóbal (Rio Fucha), with impact in the bordering neighborhoods as La Gran Colombia, Laurels I, and Montecarlo between others that along the project are controlled. This offer begins from a study of problems and criteria that are demonstrated in the zone and there appears a solution that is based on the implementation of an improvement of the habitat and the urban structure of the sector, the rehabilitation of housing, road systems and the recovery of affected sectors of the ecological principal structure that consists of the Rio Fucha and the oriental hills. This zone has an affectation of the ecological structure, principally in the head-board of the river showing alarming factors of pollution and deterioration that concerns the urban environment. The project offers an urban vision that centers in generating a progress in the quality of life of the inhabitants, promoting the protection of the Rio Fucha, his ecological structure, with the bonus of implementing new systems of mobility in the neighborhoods previously described of this form is articulated by the systems of massive transport of the city, beside generating an evident improvement in the quality of public space, which they develop across cultural, educational equipments and health that were integrating the design of the line park close to the metropolitan park of San Cristóbal.
