Estrategia para el fortalecimiento del desarrollo agroindustrial y rural de Arcabuco: propuesta de intervención urbano - arquitectónica

Abstract

The municipality of Arcabuco, located in the department of Boyacá, presents a demographic decline derived from the isolation generated on the national route 62, due to the strengthening and development of new alternative routes (national route 45) for commercialization and tourism, causing a significant decrease in the economy, development and future growth of the municipality. This project seeks to contribute to the economy and development of Arcabuco, based on the implementation of strategies oriented to the three thrust of study that are projected from the sustainable development: social, economic and environmental. From the social thrust, it is projected a nodal agricultural network that allows to interconnect the sidewalks towards the town centre guaranteeing the social inclusion of all the municipalities residents. At the same time, it is proposed to intervene on two existing schools, renewing their functionality to become agroindustrial technical centers, being a first step for the field technification, raising awareness of the importance of the field within the sector; And by providing the necessary training to carry out good agricultural practices within the framework of competitiveness. From the economic thrust, it is proposed the construction of six collection centers and a center of agricultural transformation and production, interconnected by the agricultural nodal network, whose implementation corresponds to an opportunity to improve the road infrastructure. In the environmental thrust is incorporated an eco-tourism strategy aimed at preserving the environment, the agricultural landscape and the ecosystem of each village, enhancing rural tourism through the projection of ecological trails within the agricultural nodal network; Since the municipality offers a variety of natural attractions located in its different villages, providing an optimal space for the development of rural tourist activities and research.
