The central region is important for the mining production of coal, iron, plaster, construction materials, among others, additionally in agricultural matter is the production mainly of potatoes, corn, wheat, beans, barley, cassava, tomato, among others, which shows the capacity of production and transport of cargo of the department, consequently, the loading station would respond to the mobility of merchandise for the whole country. The people of Tunja has clear characteristics, whether for work or education, there is a large migration to this city, which is why it is important to respond to the daily mobility of these people, many of whom live in cities such as Paipa, Duitama and Sogamoso, hence, that intermunicipal trips are of great affluence.     Abstract

    Considerando la problemática de cómo generar una interconexión de transporte mixto, en el corredor nordeste, se propone el diseño de un proyecto arquitectónico puntual de una estación de transporte intermodal, con el fin de mejorar el desarrollo urbano regional permitiendo una conexión de la ciudad de Tunja, con el departamento, la región y el país, llevando a cabo una investigación, que parte de los marcos de referencia, los cuales nos dan lineamientos históricos, funcionales y legales, para luego a través de la metodología, encontrar la escala acorde a la población de estudio y así lograr emplazar el proyecto en un terreno acorde, dentro de la normativa y las necesidades de la ciudad. La región central es caracterizada por la producción minera de carbón, hierro, yeso, materiales de construcción, entre otros, adicionalmente en materia agrícola se ve la producción principalmente de papa, maíz, trigo, frijol, cebada, yuca, tomate, entre otros, lo cual deja ver la capacidad de producción y de transporte de carga del departamento, en consecuencia, la estación de carga daría respuesta a la movilidad de mercancía para el resto del país. La población de Tunja tiene unas características claras, ya sea por trabajo o por educación, se encuentra una gran migración hacia esta ciudad, por lo cual es importante dar respuesta a la movilidad diaria de estas personas, muchas de las cuales viven en ciudades como Paipa, Duitama y Sogamoso, de ahí, que los viajes intermunicipales sean de gran afluencia. En resumen, la estación de carga y pasajeros busca ser una alternativa para la distribución y organización de la carga agrícola y minera de la región y además sea un punto articulador de la movilidad de pasajeros, ya sea entre la ciudad o con los municipios aledaños
