Therefore, it should be noted that there is a high rate of vehicle traffic due to the economic activity that characterizes the place, thus generating income within the city with minimal restrictions and conceiving that there are sectors with a lack of urban planning for everything. concerning the exchange of the mode of transport.     Abstract

    La relación vial entre Bogotá y sus municipios aledaños, concurre en una red de transporte y movilidad de carácter urbano funcional con crecientes que se inter relacionan en términos de flujos de mercancías, zonas industriales, bodegas, parqueaderos de camiones y zonas de carga entre otros aspectos, los cuales se extienden por fuera del departamento de Cundinamarca generando diversas actividades económicas que centran su actividad con respecto a la función y relación en la ciudad de Bogotá, por ende en Bogotá convergen diversas problemáticas en cuanto a la malla vial y ejes articuladores de dicha actividad económica, tales como avenida Boyacá, Autopista sur, calle 80, Avenida Ciudad de Cali y la más importante: La vía Centenario o calle 13, que históricamente fue el principal acceso de carga a la ciudad en la época de la conquista. Por lo anterior cabe destacar que existe un alto índice de tránsito de vehículos en debido a la actividad económica que caracteriza el lugar, generando así el ingreso al interior de la ciudad con restricciones mínimas y concibiendo que existan sectores con falta de planificación urbana para todo lo concerniente al intercambio del modo de transporte. Por tal motivo es pertinente desarrollar un sistema de dicha índole que permita a la ciudad tener un intercambiador modal en una zona estratégica de la ciudad, como lo es la zona franca y a su vez acceda a contribuir a una calidad de vida para quienes habitan y concurren el lugar, por esta razón el NODO INTERMODAL DE PASO va encaminado tanto al aprovechamiento de las potencialidades de cada modo y medio de transporte como a manejar las condiciones de movilidad de la población
